It’s good to talk & share your frustration & worries…
Sharing helps make you worry less, as it’s not just you!
January is a very tough time in the beauty industry…
When we all experience the quieter months, we all get a little scared & deflated…
Our salon overheads don’t get less!
Even when the diary is quiet!
Let’s turn this quiet, downtime into something positive.
You’ll have time to reconnect with your clients through Social Media or Newsletters, & introduce your new year offers, treatments, etc.
You can do some market research & ask clients if there are any new treatments they might be keen for you to start offering.
We all know we can’t give our clients what they want if you don’t check in with them!
Client focus groups are a great way of doing this on Social Media.
Also weekly/fortnightly newsletters, personal emails & DMs.
Regular communication is essential to build client relationships & loyalty!
Encourage them to follow and engage with you on all of your social media channels, i.e., Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, What’s App, and Email.
Collect as much up-to-date information about your clients, making it easier to keep connected with them, & that their details are all relevant & up-to-date!
There is nothing worse than getting emails bouncing back, as clients have changed their details!
Let’s go through our salon data when we are quieter in our businesses & make sure we have all the correct phone numbers – & emails, we cannot do this when we are busy!!!
Create a loyalty scheme. This is a great way to get clients engaged.
Everyone loves being part of a group, a VIP SCHEME, etc!
Maybe while we are quiet let’s book a refresher online course?
Brush up on your skills.
Train in something new?
Contact your suppliers to see when they are launching new products, which you may be able to trial.
Training & mentoring your therapists & keeping their knowledge up-to-date helps them be included & a valuable part of the team & your business.
